Algorfa Costa Blanca

The quiet days in the small village of Algorfa  on the Costa Blancahave all but ended due to the new golf course, which is being enlarged into an 18 hole. The golf course itself fits beautifully into the hilly landscape of Algorfa.

During the course of 2001 the first properties came on the market within the golf urbanization. Sea views are admittedly rare but because of the amazing mountain scenery it compensates for it every time.

Algorfa is very rich in plantations including citrus fruits, olives and almonds. Algorfa is close to Orihuela having historical buildings well worth seeing and has good possibilities for shopping.

Close to Algorfa are the wonderful sandy beaches of La Mata and Guardamar. To get to the tourist centre in Torrevieja takes no more then 15 minutes. Alicante airport is approximately 35 minutes from Algorfa by car

There are numerous car hire companies in the area, with several being located at Alicante airport..

Record Rent a Car,Hertz, Sol-Mar,Avis General, Europa, Europcar are all there. You can choose to leave to rent a car until you arrive, but you do take the chance of either not getting the car of your choice or facing long queues particularly in the summer season
